Parking management system to be replaced in August-September 2024

PARKING SYSTEM CHANGE FROM AUGUST TO OCTOBER 2024

The parking management system of Itä-Pasilan Pysäköinti Oy and Länsi-Pasilan Autopaikat Oy will be replaced with a more efficient system. The change will enable a wider range of products and more flexible contract management.

With the change of system, some of the previous operating models will be renewed, the billing method will change and the contract terms will be updated. More information on the changes and timetable below.

Termination of contracts

Due to the new management system and the change in operating models, all our parking contracts have ended on 31 July 2024.

New agreements

Due to the changing operating model, a new contract must be concluded to continue the customer relationship. The new parking contract is made automatically in our online shop at www.pasilanpysakointi.fi. The online shop will open in August.

Please note that in the future, contracts will only be concluded via the online shop.

An active email address is required to conclude a contract. If you do not have an email, please contact our customer service.

Billing

The invoicing of contracts is transferred to the payment card (debit/credit) for payment. Separate invoices will no longer be used. 

At the contract stage, you enter your payment card details into the online shop in the same way as when you place an order with, for example, Netflix or other similar services. The parking company will charge the price of the chosen contract product once a month to the chosen payment card. 

Online shop

The process of concluding a contract in an online shop is essentially as follows:

  1. Go to www.pasilanpysakointi.fi and select the online shop.
  2. Fill in the requested information (personal details, vehicle registration number and payment card) and select the contract product you want. At the same time, you will create a customer account, which you can use to manage your own contracts.
  3. Use the button on the e-commerce page to send a verification request to the parking company, which will check your details and whether you are eligible for the product you have chosen.
  4. If everything is in order, you will receive an email informing you that the contract has been accepted and you can finalise your order. Otherwise, you will receive a request for further information or a rejection notice.

In future, the parking company will no longer ask customers for their vehicle registration details, but these will be automatically checked by Traficom. To be eligible for a parking space, you must still live in the company's shareholding. In addition, the vehicle must be owner-occupied.

Access codes

The installation of the new system in the halls will be carried out one parking bay at a time.

The new contracts will start under the new system in August, but the boom installation shift for the car park you are using may not come until after this date. 

The old access codes (registration number, card, pin code) will remain valid until the system is replaced for the parking facility you are using. After the change, access will only be possible with the new system identifiers. The registration number will also cease to function unless it has been entered via the customer portal in the new system.

The new system will use the registration number of the car as the primary means of identification. The system will read the registration number when driving to the entry/exit and open the boom/door. New readers will be installed on the pedestrian doors, the car registration number will be entered and if the car is inside the hall, the door will open.

A separate access card will be sent to customers along with the registration number after the contract has been confirmed. The card serves as a spare identifier for customers who drive and as a primary identifier for motorcycles and mopeds.

 

Moovy and Parkman

The parking apps Moovy and Parkman will expire on 31.7.2024.

In the future, for example, visiting guests will still be able to use short-term parking in our suitable halls, but payment will be made via the new mobile payment method or directly in the hall with a payment terminal.

Installation schedule

The installation of the parking facilities will start for P-Jarrumies during August. After that, the order of installation will be as follows:

P-Hannanportti, P-Chamber of Finance, P-Leanportti, P-Maistrate, P-Palace, P-Asemaplázlik, P-Resiina, P-Veturi
